HikingEstonia's second bike trip this summer takes place on August 1–2 around Muhu island.
In total, over 2 days, we cycle and hike around Muhu about 90–100 km :)

Sleepy fishing villages, working windmills, thatched farmhouses, plenty of roe deer, elk and birds. St Catherine's Church in Liiva village, with its pagan gravestones, is one of the oldest in Estonia. On the east coast lies the Ancient Culture Trail, where sacred sites of the old native faith can be seen.
During the hiking days we see the main sights, visit the Muhu Museum and the Muhu ostrich farm, and take plenty of breaks, picnics and swims.
Weather permitting, we also walk out to Kõinastu islet and Kesselaid (for an extra fee)!
To take part in the bike trip you don't need your own bike and helmet, since we get them locally, starting and ending at Kuivastu harbour; but anyone who wishes can bring their own bike and camp in a tent.
Cycling shorts and gloves will certainly come in handy, as well as a small backpack/pannier to fit the day's snacks, drinks and swimwear/towel.
We recommend using sunscreen and sunglasses on the trip.
The participation fee is 195 euros.
The participation fee includes:

– 2xtoitlustust (esimene õhtu ja teine hommik);
– isiklike asjade transporti;
– retkejuhi teenust.
The participation fee does not include:
– laevapileteid edasi-tagasi
– tervise ja reisikindlustust (soovitatav);
– isiklikku ratast, rattakiivrit ja rattaretke varustust;
– oma sööki-jooki ja kohvikus või poes käimist ning muid isiklike lõbustusi. 🙂
