Andrus is a founding member of HikingEstonia and its driving force since the end of 2018. He has had an interest in nature and hiking since he was a child. He started hiking more seriously in 2005 and to date he has traveled and hiked in more than 55 countries around the world. He considers his greatest achievements as a hiker to be conquering several high mountains, including Elbrus, Kilimanjaro, Damavand, Iliniza Norte, Iliniza Sur, Sincholagua, Jbel Toubkal, etc.<\/p>\n

From 2011 to 2018, Andrus lived on the island of Ibiza in Spain and was the first Estonian to hike around the islands of Ibiza, Formentera and Menorca, which are located in the Balearic archipelago, on foot, by bike and by kayak.<\/p>\n

In the winter of 2021, he was the first Estonian to hike around the islands of La Gomera and El Hierro, which are located in Africa, in the Canary archipelago.<\/p>\n

In November 2021, Andrus hiked the Camino de Santiago in Portugal for 21 days, covering 700km!<\/p>\n

In the 2022\/2023 winter season, Andrus became the first Estonian to hike through all 8 Canary Islands in 28 days, covering 28 days and a total of 550km.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

Andrus organizes hikes in different styles in his homeland, using canoes, snowshoes, push sleds, skates, bicycles, on foot and also with dogs.<\/p>\n

His main business is private hikes for companies, as well as longer hikes and trips – for example, a 100 km\/24 h endurance hike around Lake V\u00f5rtsj\u00e4rv and multi-day hiking and cycling trips with camping.<\/p>\n

I also do private tours by minibus across Estonia and the Baltics.<\/p>\n

Working on environmental issues is very close to his heart and every year he organizes the Let’s Do It Day and World Cleanup Day. In 2018, Andrus also organized World Cleanup Day on the island of Ibiza.<\/p>\n

As a big animal lover, he has been organizing pug gatherings since 2019.<\/p>\n

His pug and hiking dog Botsu is the mascot of HikingEstonia \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n

Stanislav Lomunov is an experienced guide in Tallinn, elsewhere in Estonia, the Baltic States, Russia, Finland and Ukraine.<\/p>\n

Stanislav has a very good sense of humor, acting blood and extensive knowledge of both history and modern life. Stanislav is a good communicator and a valued guide with a lot of experience.<\/p>\n

He graduated from Tallinn University of Technology, majoring in thermal engineering, but was more involved in excursions and city tours. He likes to play tennis, dream and act. He is also an active member of the Lasnam\u00e4e community and the father of 4 children.<\/p>\n

I was born and raised in the countryside, and I have had a slight attraction to nature all my life.<\/p>\n

I discovered HikingEstonia in 2019, and from that moment I still try to hang out with these great people about once a month.<\/p>\n

Hiking with a group is interesting because you meet different people outside your circle of acquaintances. This way of hiking is disciplining, because if you were hiking alone in the forest, you wouldn’t take such long trips; you can also discover new cool places to go back to later.<\/p>\n

In 2021, an addition came to my family, so at the moment I am also getting used to a new profession that will last a lifetime.<\/p>\n

But the main thing: movement is healthy!<\/p>\n
